Prime Minister's Taskforce on Manufacturing

The Prime Minister’s Taskforce on Manufacturing was appointed by the Government in October 2011 to investigate what could be done to support jobs and a future for manufacturing in Australia. The Government released the report of the non-Government members of the Prime Minister's Taskforce on Manufacturing Smarter Manufacturing for a Smarter Australia [PDF 769KB] on 16 August 2012. The Government has established the Manufacturing Leaders Group to provide strategic advice on manufacturing to the Government, and to assist in implementing the Government’s response to the Taskforce’s recommendations.
