- Coordination Committee on Innovation (CCI) - a coordination mechanism for Australian Government departments and agencies with responsibilities or interests that impact on the national innovation system.
- Commonwealth, States and Territories Advisory Council on Innovation (CSTACI) - a council of high level officials from the Australian Government, the State and Territory Governments, and the New Zealand Government, who advise and coordinate comment on their innovation policy, activities and programs.
- Industry Innovation Councils - The Government has established eight Industry Innovation Councils covering a number of industries. The Councils contribute to building an innovation culture in Australia.
