Thursday, December 8, 2016

The Draft 2016 National Research Infrastructure Roadmap has been released.

The Draft 2016 Roadmap highlights nine research infrastructure focus areas that will enable Australia to pursue transformational research while delivering returns for the community and industry partners.

“Great science needs great infrastructure, and great infrastructure needs constant attention,” Chief Scientist Dr Alan Finkel said.

The document was developed through face-to-face consultations with more than 580 stakeholders across Australia, 51 facility visits, and the consideration of 325 submissions.

Stakeholder feedback is being sought until 16 January 2017.

A copy of the draft 2016 Roadmap and information on how to provide comments are available Department of Education and Training’s website.
