Open now: Global Connections Fund Bridging Grants

Tuesday, May 2, 2017

Australian-based small and medium businesses (SMEs) and researchers wanting to collaborate with international SMEs and researchers are invited to complete an online eligibility test for the Global Connections Fund (GCF) Bridging Grants.

Up to $50,000 per grant is available to support international SME-researcher partnerships to grow into strong collaborations which lead to the translation of research knowledge and intellectual property into market ready products or services.

The Global Connections Fund has committed to $4.9 million over four years to support joint work between Australian researchers and SMEs with global partners through two components, Priming Grants and Bridging Grants.

The Global Connections Fund is administered by the Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) and is funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. This is an initiative of the Australian Government’s National Innovation and Science Agenda.

The online eligibility test is the first part of a two-step process of the formal application. The online eligibility test closes on 16 May 2017.
